Community members ready for social action projects
Teaser: Trained on leadership, communication and social accountability mechanism, community members across 14 districts of Bangladesh move forward with Social Action Projects for positive social and administrational changes.
Community members across 14 districts of Bangladesh are very enthusiastic about designing their very first Social Action Projects and bringing changes in their communities through Multi Actor Partnerships(MAPs). Earlier in November and December 2018, they received 5day long leadership an communication training on social accountability policy instruments – Citizens’ Charter, Right to Information, Grievance Redress System, and National Integrity Strategy. Trainings enhanced their capacity to better engage with the government & advocate for social change.
P4D is a European Union funded 3-year project implemented by British Council in partnership with the Cabinet Division. It aims to strengthen democratic ownership and improve accountability mechanisms in Bangladesh.
