GRS trainings for govt. officials launched
Teaser: P4D assists Bangladesh Cabinet Division (CD) with trainings for government officials, setting an eye on improving feedback to public grievances via a modernised Grievance Redress System (GRS).
With the support of EU funded Platforms for Dialogue (P4D) project, the Cabinet Division (CD) of Bangladesh has started a series of trainings on modernised Grievance Redress System (GRS).
Honourable Secretary Coordination and Reform of the Cabinet Division, N. M. Ziaul Alam inaugurated the first training, where 25 government officials from different ministries and departments are participating.
These trainings will enhance the capacity of public officials to better respond to complaints and grievances from citizens and civil society.
GRS system is developed and managed by the CD with the assistance of A2I project of the Prime Minister’s office. It enables citizens to file a grievance online about public services and track the status of the complaint.
P4D is implemented by British Council Bangladesh in partnership with the Cabinet Division. It is funded by the European Union in Bangladesh with the objective of strengthening democratic ownership and improve accountability mechanisms in Bangladesh.
