Lessons Learned Workshop held in Rangpur and Khulna

Platforms for Dialogue organised two ‘ Lessons Learned’ workshops at Rangpur and Khulna with an aim to learn about the challenges and opportunities of working with CSO partners, Multi Actor Partners as well as Local Government.

Organised on 28 and 31st January 2019, the workshops opened a platform for discussions between P4D and its stakeholder in the field. The CSO representatives shared their experience of working with MAP and Local government about social accountability tools and how they might face challenges while trying to create their agency in decision-making.

The Multi Actor Partners appreciated P4D for building their skills and at the same time empowering them with new knowledge around social accountability tools. The Multi Actor Partners appreciated P4D for building their skills and at the same time empowering them with new knowledge around social accountability tools.

The participants felt that the main opportunity of P4D’s intervention is its relevance with the present government’s emphasis on transparency and accountability.

A common concern that emerged from both workshops was how they may deal with sensitive community issues such as drug trafficking or gender abuse as part of the social action project.
